Really?
You share some of your own struggles with infertilit in the course of this play and, about the need to adopt from outside of the country.
And what I noticed about that was your mother saying we're all immigrants.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Tell me about that.
And what an antidote that is to prejudice.
It's finding the connection.
You know that.
My my family my husband and I are bookended.
My parents and my brothers, we're all, immigrants, naturalized citizens of the US as our three children.
And how my parents embraced our children as their grandchildren is just.
It was one of the greatest gifts ever.
And my mom was just such a proud Nana.
my father even called my daughter, Chloe B's wing, which was the nicknam he had for me as a little girl.
And, they just adored each other.
It was just a love fest, and it was never an issue in our.
I was going to say from the very beginning, there was there was never a hesitation.
Oh, gosh.
No.
Oh, gosh.
No.
They were so excited and delighted.
the Gemini would, have children and have a family.
And they were with us every step of the way from arriving at the airport to greet the newest members of the family.
It was wonderful.
Probably harken back to how she felt, how your mom felt when she came over here again.
I mentioned before, like I put me down in a brand new place.
I don't know, I, I don't I certainly couldn't have had the little bit the grace that she did truly, just the courage of finding your own way and feeling a sense of belonging.
And I know my mom really wanted our children to feel that they belonged and how how loved they were and are still.
